Elevait Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Elevait. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Elevait website, platform, products, and services (collectively, the “Services”).
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”, or “your”) and Elevait Technologies Ltd (“Elevait”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing or using any part of the Services, you agree to comply with these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional policies published on the platform.
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”, or “your”) and govern your access to and use of the Elevait platform (“Elevait”) and services (“Services”). Elevait is a product owned and operated by Pract Digital Innovation Lab (“Pract Digital”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing or using any part of the Services, you agree to comply with these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional policies published on the platform.
If you are using the Services on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms:
Account means your registered Elevait user account.
AI Services means the artificial intelligence tools used to generate, review, analyse, or improve career documents.
Career Document means any CV, résumé, cover letter, or related document created, uploaded, reviewed, or generated through the Services.
CV Builder means Elevait’s AI-powered service for creating professional CVs.
CV Review & Revamp means Elevait’s service that analyses an existing CV, provides feedback, and generates an improved version.
Cover Letter Generator means Elevait’s AI-powered tool for creating tailored cover letters.
Human Expert Review means the optional paid service in which a qualified reviewer provides personalised feedback on a user’s CV.
Services means all products, features, software, content, and functionality made available through Elevait.
User Content means any information, documents, text, images, or other materials submitted by you through the platform.
3. Eligibility
To use the Services, you must:
- be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction;
- have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement;
- provide accurate and complete registration information; and
- comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.
If you are under the age of 18, you may only use the Services with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
We reserve the right to refuse access to the Services where permitted by law.
4. User Accounts
You may be required to create an account to access certain features of the Services.
When creating an account, you agree to:
- provide accurate, current, and complete information;
- keep your account information up to date;
- maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials;
- take responsibility for all activities carried out under your account; and
- notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Elevait is not responsible for losses resulting from your failure to protect your login credentials.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information, violate these Terms, or are used for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
5. Services Provided
Elevait provides digital career services designed to help users create and improve professional career documents.
Our Services may include:
- AI CV Builder;
- AI CV Review & Revamp;
- AI Cover Letter Generator;
- ATS-friendly CV templates;
- Optional Human Expert Review;
- Career guidance content;
- Downloadable career documents; and
- Other products or features introduced from time to time.
The availability of specific Services may change as the platform evolves. We reserve the right to add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature where reasonably necessary.
6. User Responsibilities
When using the Services, you agree to:
- provide truthful and accurate information;
- upload only documents that you have the legal right to use;
- review AI-generated content before using it;
- ensure that all career documents accurately represent your qualifications, experience, and achievements;
- comply with all applicable laws and regulations; and
- use the Services only for lawful and legitimate purposes.
You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for the accuracy of any information included in your career documents.
Elevait does not verify employment history, qualifications, certifications, or other information submitted by users.
7. Payments and Pricing
Elevait operates a transparent pay-per-download pricing model.
Unless otherwise stated:
- creating an account is free;
- access to selected platform features may be provided without charge;
- payment is required before downloading premium documents or accessing paid services;
- all prices are displayed before checkout; and
- purchases are processed through authorised third-party payment providers.
Prices may change from time to time. Any price changes will not affect purchases that have already been completed.
You are responsible for ensuring that your chosen payment method is valid and authorised.
If a payment is declined or cannot be processed, access to the purchased service may be delayed until payment has been successfully completed.
8. Downloads and Digital Products
Following successful payment, you will receive access to the digital product or service you purchased.
Depending on the product, downloadable files may include PDF, Microsoft Word (.docx), or other supported formats.
Purchased documents may remain available within your account for future access, subject to platform availability and these Terms.
Because Elevait provides personalised digital products that are generated specifically for each user, access to downloads is granted only to the purchasing account holder.
You are responsible for reviewing your documents before using them in job applications.
Downloading a document does not transfer ownership of Elevait’s software, templates, intellectual property, or underlying technology.
9. AI-Generated Content
Elevait uses artificial intelligence to assist in creating, reviewing, improving, and generating career documents.
While our AI is designed to produce high-quality and professionally structured content, AI-generated content is provided as an assistance tool and should not be treated as professional legal, employment, immigration, or recruitment advice.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or suggestions that require review.
- You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all AI-generated content before using it.
- You must ensure that all information contained in your career documents is truthful, accurate, and reflects your own qualifications, skills, and experience.
- Elevait does not guarantee that AI-generated content will result in interviews, employment, promotions, visa approvals, or any other specific outcome.
Elevait reserves the right to improve, modify, or replace its AI models and workflows as technology evolves.
10. Human Expert Review
Elevait may offer an optional Human Expert Review service for selected career documents.
Where purchased, a qualified reviewer will assess your submitted document and provide personalised recommendations based on professional CV writing and recruitment best practices.
By purchasing this service, you acknowledge that:
- Human Expert Review is an advisory service.
- Recommendations are based on the information you provide.
- Reviewers do not verify your employment history, qualifications, certifications, or other personal information.
- You remain responsible for all final decisions regarding your career documents.
Estimated turnaround times are provided as service targets only and may vary depending on reviewer availability or operational requirements.
Where delays occur, Elevait will make reasonable efforts to keep you informed.
11. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, all intellectual property rights in the Services belong to Elevait or its licensors.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- software;
- website design;
- source code;
- branding;
- logos;
- graphics;
- icons;
- user interface designs;
- templates;
- written content;
- AI workflows;
- databases; and
- proprietary methodologies.
Your purchase of a document grants you a licence to use that document for your personal or professional purposes.
It does not transfer ownership of Elevait’s intellectual property.
You may not:
- copy or redistribute our templates for commercial purposes;
- reproduce our website or software;
- reverse engineer our systems;
- remove copyright or proprietary notices;
- create competing products using our proprietary content or technology; or
- use our intellectual property without our prior written permission.
12. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Services responsibly and lawfully.
You must not use the Services to:
- violate any applicable law or regulation;
- submit false or misleading information;
- impersonate another individual or organisation;
- infringe another person’s intellectual property rights;
- upload malicious software or harmful code;
- interfere with the operation or security of the platform;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems;
- use automated tools to scrape, copy, or harvest platform data without permission; or
- use the Services in any manner that could damage Elevait or other users.
We reserve the right to investigate suspected misuse and take appropriate action where necessary.
13. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- creating fraudulent accounts;
- sharing or selling user accounts;
- attempting to bypass payment requirements;
- exploiting software vulnerabilities;
- introducing viruses or malicious code;
- uploading content that is unlawful, defamatory, offensive, abusive, or discriminatory;
- using the Services for fraudulent employment applications;
- submitting false qualifications or fabricated employment history;
- interfering with another user’s access to the platform; and
- using the Services in a way that disrupts normal platform operations.
Any breach of these Terms may result in the suspension or permanent termination of your account without prior notice where appropriate.
Elevait also reserves the right to report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities.
14. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us.
Our collection, storage, processing, and protection of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy.
By using the Services, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal information as described in that policy.
Where required by applicable law, Elevait will implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
You remain responsible for ensuring that the information you submit is accurate and lawful to process.
15. Third-Party Services
Certain features of the Services rely on trusted third-party providers.
These may include providers responsible for:
- payment processing;
- user authentication;
- cloud hosting;
- document generation;
- email delivery;
- analytics; and
- artificial intelligence services.
Your use of those services may also be subject to the terms and privacy policies of the relevant third-party provider.
Elevait is not responsible for the operation, availability, or content of third-party services beyond our reasonable control.
Where third-party services become unavailable, we will make reasonable efforts to restore functionality or provide suitable alternatives where practical.
16. Service Availability
Elevait aims to provide reliable access to the Services but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
The Services may occasionally be unavailable due to:
- scheduled maintenance;
- software updates;
- security improvements;
- technical faults;
- third-party service outages; or
- events beyond our reasonable control.
We may temporarily suspend access to all or part of the Services where necessary to protect users, maintain platform security, or improve service quality.
Where reasonably possible, planned maintenance will be communicated in advance.
Elevait shall not be liable for temporary interruptions or delays that occur despite reasonable efforts to maintain continuous service.
17. Refunds
Elevait provides personalised digital products and services that are generated specifically for each user.
Because of the nature of these digital services, purchases are generally non-refundable once the requested service has been delivered or the purchased document has been made available.
You may be eligible for a refund where:
- a payment is successfully processed but the purchased service is not delivered due to a technical fault attributable to Elevait;
- duplicate payments are made for the same transaction; or
- a refund is required under applicable consumer protection laws.
Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may require additional information to verify the claim.
Submitting a refund request does not guarantee approval.
18. Limitation of Liability
Elevait provides tools to assist users in creating and improving career documents.
While we strive to provide accurate, reliable, and high-quality Services, we do not guarantee:
- employment or job offers;
- interview invitations;
- salary increases;
- visa approvals;
- admissions;
- career progression; or
- any other specific outcome resulting from the use of our Services.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Elevait shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
19. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pract Digital Innovation Lab, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and partners from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from:
- your use of the Services;
- your breach of these Terms;
- your violation of applicable laws;
- your infringement of another person’s rights; or
- any false, misleading, or unlawful information submitted through the platform.
This obligation survives the termination of your use of the Services.
20. Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Services where we reasonably believe that you have:
- breached these Terms;
- engaged in fraudulent or unlawful activity;
- attempted to compromise the security or operation of the platform;
- misused the Services; or
- acted in a manner that may cause harm to Elevait or other users.
Where appropriate, we may notify you before taking action. However, we may suspend or terminate access immediately where necessary to protect the platform, our users, or our legal obligations.
You may stop using the Services at any time and may request the closure of your account in accordance with our account management procedures.
Termination of your account does not affect any rights or obligations that arose before termination.
21. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, legal requirements, or business operations.
Where changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users through the platform or other appropriate communication channels.
The updated Terms become effective from the date stated at the bottom of this document.
Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
22. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Before commencing formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to make reasonable efforts to resolve any dispute through good-faith discussions.
Where a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be submitted to a court of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria.
Nothing in this section limits any statutory rights available to consumers under applicable law.

24. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and Elevait/Pract Digital Innovation Lab regarding your use of the Services and supersede any previous agreements or understandings relating to the same subject matter.
25. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be deemed severed from the remaining provisions.
The remainder of these Terms shall continue in full force and effect.
26. Waiver
A failure or delay by Pract Digital Innovation Lab to exercise any right or enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
Any waiver must be made expressly and in writing.
27. Effective Date
These Terms and Conditions take effect from the Effective Date stated at the end of this document and remain in force until replaced by a revised version.
